AlloyX HK and EvolveQ sign MOU to combine AI and quantum for finance
AlloyX (Hong Kong) Limited, an indirect subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Solowin Holdings (AXG), has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with EvolveQ Limited, a quantum-computing orchestration startup. The agreement establishes a framework for exploring joint development at the intersection of AI, quantum computing and high-performance computing, with a focus on financial services and digital assets.
The MOU is structured around two workstreams. The first covers AI infrastructure, with plans to build a wealth management platform using AXG Digital's existing stack, including its KOVAR AI routing layer and AGENPAY agent-payment initiative. The second targets quantum-powered portfolio optimisation using EvolveQ's FinQ orchestration framework, which is designed to coordinate quantum, HPC and GPU resources across heterogeneous hardware.
What each party brings
Frank Chen, Head of Integration at AXG Digital, said the combination of EvolveQ's cross-hardware orchestration with AXG's AI routing infrastructure is intended to "empower institutions to execute sophisticated trading strategies and agent-driven payments at speeds and scales previously thought impossible." Dr Lumos Yue, Chief Technology Officer of EvolveQ, framed the partnership as a step toward moving quantum applications "from proof-of-concept toward scalable, commercially viable deployment" within a regulated financial ecosystem.
Solowin describes itself as operating a dual-token digital economy platform spanning stablecoin issuance, asset tokenisation and securities trading, with AI-powered services layered on top. EvolveQ, for its part, claims coverage across finance, logistics, energy and life sciences, though no commercial revenue figures or named enterprise customers were disclosed in the release.
