Adsmom raises $600k backed by 500 Global to scale ad analytics

Adsmom, a Riga-based advertising data analytics startup, has secured more than USD 600,000 in funding over the past ten months, with backers including 500 Global, the internationally active early-stage fund. The company, founded by Kristiāns Lancmanis, Matīss Andersons and Raimonds Vizulis, is a participant in the Latvian Investment and Development Agency's (LIAA) Business Incubation Programme.

The platform aggregates and analyses advertising data from major digital channels including Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, using AI to help media agencies and brand advertisers track competitor activity, identify market trends and inform campaign decisions. Adsmom reports more than 3,300 active users, a team that has grown from three to seven people over the past year, and claimed monthly user growth of more than 60%. Current clients are concentrated across the Baltics, Poland and the United Kingdom.

The deal

Lancmanis said the investment carries strategic weight beyond the capital itself. "This investment is not only about capital that allows us to move faster. It is also a vote of confidence from investors who have themselves built successful companies. Their support gives us the confidence to make bolder decisions and think bigger."

The funding will be directed at further product development, team expansion and strengthening the company's position in European and UK markets. The company did not disclose a post-money valuation, individual investor stakes, or the breakdown between private investors and 500 Global's contribution. No named enterprise clients were cited, though Lancmanis noted the platform serves companies with marketing budgets exceeding one billion euros.

Market context

Advertising intelligence and competitive monitoring is a well-populated category. Established players such as Pathmatics (now part of Sensor Tower), Semrush, Similarweb and Kantar's digital measurement tools serve overlapping buyer profiles. The entry point for early-stage vendors like Adsmom is typically strong price-performance and faster data refresh rates on social and short-form video channels, where incumbent tools have historically been slower to adapt.

500 Global's involvement is notable for a Baltic-market startup at this funding level. The fund has backed a large number of early-stage companies globally and brings network effects that could accelerate Adsmom's introductions to US and South-East Asian markets, even if the company's current commercial focus is Europe. The EU's Digital Markets Act, which imposes new data-access and interoperability obligations on designated gatekeepers including Meta and Alphabet, could create both opportunities and complications for third-party analytics vendors that depend on platform data pipelines: expanded mandatory data access may improve signal quality, but gatekeeper API policy shifts remain a structural risk.

The LIAA Business Incubation Programme, which has co-financed more than EUR 4.35 million in support across 1,600 companies since its launch, provides co-financing of up to 70% for business development services and is itself part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The programme's 2024 cohort collectively generated EUR 35.1 million in turnover, of which EUR 16 million was export revenue. A new intake round is scheduled for autumn 2026.

For Adsmom, the near-term milestones investors and prospective customers will watch include the rate at which the company converts its current user base into paying enterprise accounts, whether it can sustain its reported monthly growth rate as it moves beyond early-adopter media agencies, and how it navigates platform-level changes to advertising data availability across its key data sources.
