Hexaware joins Anthropic's Claude Partner Network in multi-year deal
Hexaware Technologies has secured Preferred Partner status in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network, the two companies announced on 8 October 2026. The multi-year agreement puts Claude at the centre of two of Hexaware's AI-native platforms: Zerovity, its AI-native software engineering harness, and AgentVerse, an agent build and governance environment that the company says contains more than 600 pre-built agents.
The arrangement extends an existing commercial relationship. Hexaware already holds authorisation to resell Claude via Amazon Bedrock, and the new tier deepens that connection into joint go-to-market activity, co-developed solutions, and expanded Claude training across Hexaware's delivery workforce. The company reports that more than 1,100 of its personnel are already Claude-certified.
What the partnership covers
Enterprise clients are offered two entry points under the arrangement. The first is outcome-led: Hexaware's Zero Friction Enterprise offerings target defined cost or quality problems, including technical debt reduction, security vulnerability remediation, backlog clearance, and licence-cost optimisation. The second is tool-led: clients connect their existing development environments directly to the Zerovity harness, which applies token optimisation and deploys software delivery agents.
Siddharth Dhar, President and Global Head of AI at Hexaware, framed the commercial logic around a shift in enterprise buying behaviour. "Enterprises no longer want to buy AI effort; they want outcomes," he said. "With Anthropic, we are putting Claude at the heart of Zerovity and AgentVerse, so our clients reach production results faster, at a cost they can plan around."
Chris Ciauri, Managing Director for International at Anthropic, described Hexaware as bringing "deep engineering talent and AI-native platforms that turn Claude's capabilities into measurable outcomes for clients across IT operations and software engineering."
Market context
The partnership reflects a broader pattern across the enterprise AI services sector. Systems integrators and IT outsourcers are competing to lock in preferred-partner designations with foundation-model vendors, recognising that model access and co-selling rights are becoming a differentiator in large-account bids. Anthropic's Claude Partner Network competes with comparable programmes from OpenAI, Google (Vertex AI partner tiers) and AWS (Amazon Bedrock ISV programmes), each of which offers certified resellers training resources, joint pipeline visibility and priority support.
Hexaware is listed on India's NSE and operates primarily as a mid-tier IT services company competing in a segment that includes larger rivals such as Infosys, Wipro and HCL Technologies, all of which have announced their own generative AI partnerships and platform strategies. The company's focus on codified, agent-driven delivery, rather than time-and-materials staffing, positions it alongside a number of specialist AI engineering firms attempting to redefine how IT outsourcing is priced and measured.
The outcome-based pricing model the companies describe carries execution risk: converting proof-of-value deployments into at-scale production contracts reliably enough to sustain fixed-outcome economics is an open challenge across the IT services industry, and Hexaware has not disclosed customer names, committed contract values, or benchmark data for the platforms.
Regulatory and compliance backdrop
Anthropic's own positioning around AI safety and interpretability is material context here. Enterprises in regulated sectors, particularly financial services, healthcare and critical infrastructure, are under increasing pressure from frameworks including the EU AI Act, DORA, and the UK's AI Safety Institute's emerging guidance to demonstrate governance of third-party AI systems. Hexaware's AgentVerse governance layer and Anthropic's safety-first model development approach are both pitched at this concern, though neither company has specified which compliance certifications or audit frameworks the combined offering supports.
