Strada partners with Aon and launches AI tools at Workday Rising 2026

Strada is announcing an Aon partnership and two new products at Workday Rising U.S. 2026, targeting HR transformation and AI cost planning.

Strada, a payroll and workforce technology firm operating across 180 countries and a Workday Platinum Partner, has used Workday Rising U.S. 2026 to announce a strategic alliance with professional services group Aon alongside two new product launches: the Flex Credit Calculator and the U.S. expansion of its Strada Express mid-market deployment offering.

The announcements, made from Strada's booth at the Las Vegas conference, reflect a broader push by Workday's partner ecosystem to help enterprise buyers translate their platform subscriptions into measurable AI adoption, as Workday continues to build out its AI portfolio under its Flex Credit consumption model.

The Aon partnership and Flex Credit Calculator

The Strada-Aon alliance is positioned around benefits administration and HR transformation. Aon holds Workday Wellness Broker Partner status, while Strada carries Workday Wellness Strategic Migration and Benefits Administration Partner accreditation. Together, the two firms say they will offer Aon clients access to Strada's advisory, deployment, optimisation and ongoing operational support across the Workday platform.

Bryan Morens, SVP Strategic Partnerships at Aon, said: "By combining Aon's consulting and benefits expertise with Strada's end-to-end Workday capabilities, we are better positioned to help organisations accelerate transformation and achieve greater value from their Workday investment."

Alongside the partnership, Strada is launching the Flex Credit Calculator, an advisory tool developed in collaboration with its Client Advisory Board. The tool uses Workday's published Flex Credit rate cards together with customer-specific data, including employee headcount, subscription type and projected AI usage, to generate personalised consumption and cost estimates. The aim is to give finance and HR operations teams greater visibility into their AI entitlements before they commit to additional spend. No pricing for the calculator itself was disclosed in the release.

Strada Express heads to the U.S.

The second major announcement is the U.S. expansion of Strada Express, a fixed-scope Workday Human Capital Management deployment product aimed at organisations with up to 3,000 employees. The product launched in Europe earlier this year and is now being extended to cover the U.S. and Canada.

Three deployment tiers are available: Express, Accelerate and Transform. The company says eligible customers can go live in as little as twelve weeks, a commitment intended to appeal to mid-market buyers wary of the extended timelines typical of large-scale HCM implementations.

Market context

The Workday partner ecosystem is intensely competitive. Global systems integrators including Accenture, Deloitte, IBM and Mercer all hold Workday partner status, with varying specialisations across HCM, finance and payroll. Strada's differentiator is its payroll operations heritage across multiple jurisdictions, which gives it a credible cross-border story for multinationals implementing Workday globally.

The Flex Credit model itself is a relatively new commercial mechanism for Workday AI features, and confusion among buyers about entitlements versus additional costs has been a noted friction point in enterprise sales. A calculator tool that clarifies consumption projections addresses a genuine commercial pain point, though its value ultimately depends on how accurately it models real-world usage patterns.

For mid-market buyers, the twelve-week go-live claim for Strada Express will face scrutiny. Fixed-scope deployments can accelerate timelines, but integrations with legacy payroll, benefits and ERP systems frequently extend implementation cycles beyond initial estimates. Prospective customers are likely to seek reference cases before committing.

The U.S. launch extends an accreditation footprint that already covers the UK, Ireland, the Nordics, Benelux and Switzerland, giving Strada a continuous geographic path for clients managing workforces across both sides of the Atlantic.
