Lenovo unveils IdeaPad Vibe and IdeaCentre AIO i at Innovation World
Lenovo used its Innovation World 2026 event in Dubai to announce two new consumer-facing AI PC product lines: the IdeaPad Vibe laptop series and the IdeaCentre AIO i desktop, both featuring expanded personalisation options and tighter integration with the company's Qira personal AI platform.
Jun Ouyang, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Segment at Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group, said consumer expectations had shifted: "People want technology that fits into their lives, whether they prioritise performance, entertainment, or a device that suits their individual style."
IdeaPad Vibe: colour, chipsets, and Copilot+
The IdeaPad Vibe range is available in 14-inch and 15-inch configurations, starting at 1.3kg in a metal chassis. Primary processor options are Qualcomm Snapdragon X, qualifying the devices as Copilot+ PCs, and AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series, with Intel-based variants said to follow at a later, unspecified date. Memory runs to 24GB on Snapdragon configurations and up to 32GB on AMD models; dual SSD slots allow post-purchase storage expansion to 1TB on AMD builds. Display choices include OLED panels with up to 100% DCI-P3 coverage and IPS panels running at up to 120Hz.
The most visible differentiator is a seven-colour palette developed in consultation with Pantone Institute, spanning shades marketed as Dreamy Violet, Spicy Gold, Zen Green, Chill Blue, Radiant Coral, Moody Blue, and Lowkey Grey. Customisable keycap sets will be available as a paid accessory. Brian Leonard, VP of Design Innovation at Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group, described colour as "the most personal design decision people make when choosing a device."
The IdeaCentre AIO i extends the same colour-first approach to the desktop form factor. Built on Intel Core Series 3 processors rated at up to 40 TOPS of AI performance, the all-in-one features 23.8-inch and 27-inch full HD displays, up to 32GB of LPDDR5x memory, and a redesigned chassis that eliminates the separate mid-box computing unit found in earlier generations. The unit ships with a colour-matched keyboard and mouse combo, an ergonomic stand offering 30mm of vertical travel and a -5 to 15 degree tilt range, and an optional 5MP IR camera. A signature feature the company calls Adaptive Lighting cycles through Boot-up, Default, and Music modes via the Lenovo AI Turbo Engine.
Qira integration and market context
Across both product lines, Lenovo is pushing Lenovo Qira, its cross-device personal AI layer, as a platform differentiator. Qira uses Workato-powered connectors to link email, calendar, and collaboration tools, allowing natural-language queries to surface information across applications without manual context-switching. The company positions Qira as spanning PCs, smartphones, tablets, and wearables, an architecture that mirrors Microsoft's Copilot+ strategy and Apple's evolving Apple Intelligence framework.
The consumer AI PC market is intensely competitive. Microsoft's Copilot+ specification, built around Neural Processing Unit thresholds, has become a de facto baseline, and all major OEMs including Dell, HP, Asus, and Samsung have launched compliant devices. Lenovo's differentiation pitch rests on cross-device AI orchestration via Qira and on design personalisation, two vectors that do not yet carry verifiable third-party benchmark support in this release.
Pricing and precise regional availability were not disclosed in the announcement. With the release issued from Dubai and Lenovo citing 180 markets of operation, availability timing across EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas will be a key detail for buyers and channel partners watching the rollout. Competitors and retail partners will be watching whether the Pantone colour strategy meaningfully shifts consideration among style-conscious buyers in the mid-market laptop segment, or whether it remains a marketing story without sustained demand data to support it.
