QCI upgrades Jarvis to coordinate workflows across its business

Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI) has announced a significant upgrade to Jarvis, its internal AI operating system, repositioning it from a single-task assistant into what the San Diego company describes as a coordinated operational layer that manages work continuously across the organisation. The updated system connects specialised AI agents, tools and workflows under a unified runtime, with humans retained for critical decisions.

QCI says Jarvis currently handles approximately 80% of its internal operational workflows, covering project coordination, work prioritisation, issue escalation and customer support. Since deploying the latest agentic capabilities, the company reports that average customer ticket resolution times have fallen by around 40%, dropping from three weeks to 1.8 weeks. No independent verification of that figure was included in the release.

The architecture

Andrew Cardno, co-founder and CTO of QCI, described the Jarvis upgrade as a step beyond the current industry preoccupation with discrete AI agents. "In 2023, everyone was learning how to prompt. In 2025, the focus became AI agents. I believe 2026 is the year of machines, connected systems that don't just answer questions, but continuously work toward business outcomes."

Cardno positions the architecture as an operational layer that identifies bottlenecks and routes work to the right people rather than replacing staff outright. QCI describes Jarvis as a proving ground for the agentic concepts it is rolling out more broadly across its product line, including QCI Resorts, a unified hospitality and operations platform deployed at more than 325 casino resorts across North America, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America and Europe. The company says that portfolio supports more than $42 billion in annual gross gaming revenue.

Market context

The broader enterprise software market is in an active transition from standalone AI assistants toward multi-agent orchestration frameworks. Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce and ServiceNow's Now Assist platform each represent well-resourced attempts by large incumbents to embed orchestrated agentic workflows into existing enterprise software estates. A number of well-funded startups are pursuing similar middleware-style approaches, competing on latency, reliability and the ability to integrate with legacy systems without full replacement.

QCI operates in a more specialised segment: gaming and hospitality enterprise software, where it competes with vendors including Konami Gaming and Aristocrat's Oasis platform, among others. The company's claim to differentiation rests on having deployed agentic coordination internally as a production system first, then commercialising the same architecture for customers, a sequence it argues gives it practical operational credibility that purely product-led vendors lack.
