CUBE adds three agentic coworkers to RegPlatform compliance suite

CUBE, the London-based regulatory intelligence company, has expanded its agentic coworker suite within RegPlatform with three new agents targeting high-effort compliance tasks: Priorities Coworker, Analysis Coworker and Enforcements Coworker. The additions are available immediately to existing RegPlatform customers via CUBE's Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and the Microsoft marketplace, with integration said to take under two weeks and to require no changes to existing systems.

The move marks a significant step in CUBE's strategy of embedding AI-driven regulatory intelligence directly into enterprise workflows rather than requiring compliance teams to move between separate tools. The platform is API-first, enabling connections to customers' existing operating systems.

What the three agents do

Priorities Coworker applies automated applicability filtering to incoming regulatory updates, ranking them by relevance to each customer's specific jurisdictional and business profile. CUBE's own Cost of Compliance Report 2025 found that 82% of firms track between 26 and 100 regulatory developments per month, yet for 45% of those firms fewer than half of tracked updates require any action at all. Early testing of the agent has shown an 80 to 90% reduction in wasted monitoring effort, according to CUBE, though the company has not disclosed the customer cohort size behind that figure.

Analysis Coworker allows compliance and risk staff to interrogate applicable regulations and related legal obligations through natural-language queries, receiving structured, context-specific answers drawn from a firm's regulatory intelligence profile in near real time. Enforcements Coworker aggregates enforcement actions, fines and regulatory notices across multiple jurisdictions into a single continuously updated view, extracts underlying risk themes and severity signals, and converts them into prioritised recommended actions.

James Mackonochie, Global Executive Head of Product at CUBE, said the coworkers provide teams with "the ability to filter any noise with incredible precision, answer compliance and risk team questions, and perform the repetitive work, all of which is delivered proactively within customers' existing systems and operating models."

Market context and competitive positioning

Automated regulatory change management is a growing enterprise software category, sometimes grouped under RegTech or, more broadly, governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platforms. The space now includes pure-play RegTech vendors, GRC suite incumbents such as MetricStream and NICE Actimize, and large legal-intelligence providers. CUBE differentiates itself on the breadth of its raw regulatory data coverage, citing more than ten million datapoints processed annually, and on its proprietary network intelligence layer derived from its Acin acquisition.

Agentic AI is rapidly becoming table stakes for vendors in this space. Several compliance platform providers have announced or shipped agent-based features over the past twelve months, meaning CUBE's competitive advantage will increasingly hinge on data coverage quality, jurisdictional depth and the accuracy of its applicability logic rather than on the agentic delivery mechanism alone.

CUBE was recognised as a Sample Vendor in the Gartner Hype Cycle for Risk, Compliance and Audit Technologies 2026, providing independent third-party recognition of its market position, though the Hype Cycle listing is a categorisation rather than an evaluation of comparative capability.

Regulatory read-across

The timing is notable. EU DORA obligations came into full effect for financial services firms earlier in 2025, intensifying demand for automated regulatory monitoring across operational risk. At the same time, enforcement activity from regulators including the FCA, SEC and ESMA has risen across several jurisdictions, making the Enforcements Coworker's cross-border aggregation capability directly relevant to firms managing multi-jurisdictional risk programmes. CUBE serves institutions across Europe, the United States, Canada, Asia and Australia, which means its enforcements data coverage will be a key quality signal for prospective customers.

The company's acquisitions of Kodex AI, 4CRisk, Acin and the Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence and Oden businesses, all since its March 2024 partnership with private equity firm Hg, suggest an accelerating build-out that will need to demonstrate integration coherence across these combined data assets as its agentic product line matures.
